TEXTBOOK RENTALS
Q: What is a textbook rental?

A: All you do is pay a portion of the purchase price and return it back at the end of the semester.

Q: How long do I get to keep a rental?
A: The rental isn't due back until the end of the semester. For the fall term, rentals are due on or before December 11th, 2020.

Q: What do I need in order to rent my course materials?
A: All you need to bring is a debit or credit card for us to put on file in case the rental is not returned.

Q: Why do I need a debit/credit card if I'm paying cash for my rental?
A: If the rental isn't returned we will charge the card on file the difference in how much buy the book minus the rental price paid.

Q: I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need them in future. Why should I rent?
A: Textbook Brokers has a No-Risk Rental Program meaning the full rental price paid can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester if you decide to keep your rental. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would only pay $50 to keep the rental at the end of the semester.

Q: Can I get a refund on a rental if I end up not needing it?
A: Yes, you have until Friday, August 28th to return for a full refund. Just make sure to leave it unopened if it is new.

Q: Can I write or highlight in my rental?
A: Yes, normal use of writing/ highlighting in the book is allowed. Excessive highlighting or writing can result in the rental being deemed damaged (see question below).

Q: What if I lost or damaged my rentals?
A: You only have to pay the difference in how much was paid for the rental minus the purchase price.

Q: How do I return my rentals?
A: It's easy. Textbook Brokers does not require a receipt for you to return your rentals. All you have to do is return your rentals back at the end of the semester to one of our Murfreesboro locations or mail them to:

Q: What if I don't return my rental?
A: If you don't end up returning your rental we will charge the debit or credit card on file the difference in how much was paid for the rental minus the purchase price.


COURSE MATERIAL BUYBACK
Q: Do you buy back course materials?
A: Yes, Textbook Brokers pays cash for course materials all year long. All you need to bring into the store is your ID and the course materials, and one of our staff members will tell you if it is worth anything.

Q: What kind of course materials do you purchase?
A: Textbook Brokers purchases all types of course materials: books (hardback, paperback, loose-leaf, novels, etc.), calculators, and clickers. Please bring in your course materials, along with your ID, and we will tell you if they are worth anything.

Q: Why do I need to put a debit/credit card on file for a rental?
A: Textbook Brokers requires a debit/credit card to be on file in case the rental is not returned.

Q: After I enter my card information, the website says "Billing system error." How do I fix this?
A: Please verify the card number is correct. If it's incorrect, please re-enter your card number. If the number is correct, please verify that the billing address on file with your bank is correct. If it's incorrect, please re-enter the correct billing address.


MERCHANDISE
Q: Do you carry MTSU gear?
A: Yes, we carry a huge selection of MTSU gear which available in-store at our Greenland Drive location or online.


DISCOUNTS
Q: Do you offer discounts for MTSU faculty and staff?
A: Yes, MTSU faculty and staff members receive a 20% discount on regular price MTSU gear and course materials (excludes ebooks). Must present ID at checkout.

Q: Do you offer discounts to members of the Blue Raider Athletic Association?
A: Yes, BRAA members receive 10% or 20% discount on regular price MTSU gear depending on their donor level. Must present membership card at checkout.


IN-STORE PICKUP/SHIPPING
Q: How much does it cost to pickup my order in-store or have it shipped?
A: In-store pickup is always FREE. Shipping is FREE for all orders over $25.


Q: How long does it take to process/ship my order?
A: During business hours, online order are process/shipped throughout the day. Orders placed by 11AM CST, Monday through Friday, will be shipped the same day.

Q: How long does it take to get my order if I ship my books?
A: Orders placed before 11am, Monday through Friday, will be shipped the same day.
